Group Breathwork Classes at Oak Park

As a coach at Oak Park – The Home of CrossFit Los Angeles, Matt and the Oak Park coaching team have integrated functional breathing into the programming of the gym's group fitness classes. Matt also leads weekly breathwork classes that explore a broad range of breathing techniques. The focus of the class varies from week to week, but the underlying goal is to provide an experience that offers our students the opportunity to develop the breath as a tool for self-regulation of the body and the mind. 

Virtual classes are held every Thursday at 7:15am. On Sundays at 10:30am, classes are offered virtually and in-person at Oak Park - The Home of CrossFit Los Angeles.

Fire & Ice

As an XPT Master Coach, Matt leads sessions that combine the power of breathwork with the transformative experience of exposure to extreme heat (dry sauna) and extreme cold (ice baths) to forge mental resiliency and experience how you can use your breathing to control your responses to extreme stressors. "Fire & Ice" is not only an incredible experience for putting yourself to the test by choosing to be uncomfortable, but it is also an amazing tool for physical recovery from hard training and the stresses of life. The participants in Fire & Ice routinely forge deep connections with one another - doing hard things together is unparalleled for bringing people closer together - and this makes Fire & Ice an ideal team building experience as well.

Regular Fire & Ice is held at Oak Park - Home of CrossFit Los Angeles every other Sunday at 11:30am. Contact Matt to discuss alternative times for private groups.

If you are seeking a highly personalized experience, Matt offers private coaching sessions. In these sessions, Matt expertly designs and guides you through a program that is completely customized to your individual needs and interests. For examples, individual coaching programs have focused on many facets of breathing and physical training, including: Breathing Assessments, Foundations of Functional Breathing, Breathing for Stress and Anxiety, Breathing for Sleep Apnea, Exploration of Breath, Breathing for Business Performance, and Breathing for Athletic Performance.

Individual Coaching Sessions are available virtually or in-person and start at $150/hr
